If you are an exceptional student venturing into the sciences, technology, or mathematical fields of study for your undergraduate degree, The Franklin Foundation can help you achieve your educational goals by making the college experience a little more affordable.
Eligibility and Requirements
Eligible scholarship recipients will be graduating from high school or have graduated in the last year and maintained excellent academic standing throughout their educational experience. A minimum calculated GPA of 3.0 or better at the time of graduation is required to be eligible for this scholarship opportunity. Eligible recipients should also have a financial need for scholarship, must be a U.S. citizen and will be attending an accredited 4-year American college or university full-time.
Scholarship
The scholarship awards up to $8,500 per year for money towards education costs. This scholarship is renewable for scholars who maintain a 3.6 or higher GPA throughout their collegiate career. Many students may be eligible to continue on scholarship with our graduate studies program.
Special Application Requirements
Prospective applicants are required to submit a minimum 200-word bio as well as a 1,500 to 3,000 word essay on their career goals in the sciences, technology, or advanced mathematics.
