Mr. Endre Jarraux Walls

Our young and dynamic Chairman, Endre Jarraux Walls is a founding member of the Franklin Foundation, a technologist, executive, and avid community activist working towards a stronger future generation through the advancement of the sciences, technology, and advanced mathematics.

 

Mr. Walls' passion for technology became a profitable venture in 1995 when he started his own computer service company that catered to small businesses and non-profits. He turned his hobby into a career, and serves as the Chief Technology Officer for another Philadelphia area non-profit organization.

 

Having worked for several innovative fortune 500 companies, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and ARCO Chemical Corporation, Mr. Walls has seen first-hand the importance of access to an innovative and knowledgeable American workforce.

 

In 2008, Mr. Walls developed an idea for a corporation that performed advanced research and development; a public think tank providing technological and scientific advances for American industry. This idea later evolved into a philanthropic organization encompassing not only the need for services that offer American companies a competitive edge, but also the need for philanthropy providing access for young people to opportunity through education in the sciences, technologies, and advanced mathematics.

 

"Our public school system is clearly under siege ...there are many problems, but the end result is our failure to do more than just deliver the knowledge necessary to pass a standardized test. We need to do more to promote these 3 key areas of knowledge to our future generations because they provide a basis for everything else they'll learn throughout their lives."

 

Mr. Walls also serves as the organization's Chief Executive Officer, ensuring the execution of board's vision. He currently resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania with his fiancee and daughter. Mr. Walls will serve as the Foundation's Chairman until November of 2015.
